DID YOU KNOW: The Jupiter Inlet originally was located just south of the current waterway. The inlet was moved about 1,200 feet north in 1922 to improve navigation. The north and south jetties are about 400 feet apart. The inlet channel for boaters is 15-20 feet deep.
