Try a paddle on the shady, meandering Loxahatchee River.

Whether your Dad is a novice or expert, a day on Jupiter waterways is a fabulous way to show him a great time as you enjoy kayaking in Jupiter.

Keep your eyes peeled for manatees, birds and sea turtles if you opt for the cool, clear waters around the Jupiter Inlet.

If your Dad likes dry land, rent a bicycle at Riverbend Park and check out the deer, otters, birds and other wildlife in Riverbend Park.

Take Dad for a leisurely sightseeing kayaking in Jupiter tour past the Jupiter Lighthouse, up the Intracoastal, Indian River or Fullerton Island. Watch for manatees, turtles and other wildlife while enjoying the beautiful tropical water. Enjoy the beautiful blue waters of the Jupiter coast and its surrounding areas.

Watch for different wildlife that call these waters home – manatee, turtles and many others. Bring your own food or drink on board when you take a cruise on the Pontiki from behind Charlie & Joe’s. Hear about all the local history and celebrity homes from our friendly and knowledgeable captains.

CARS & COFFEE PALM BEACH — THEN SOME KAYAKING IN JUPITER

Dad will enjoy rubbing elbows with supercar owners and enthusiasts at Car & Coffee Palm Beach.

Check out the world-class, multi-brand and multi-period vehicles on display and share the roar of powerful engines.

The event is Sunday, June 19 at the Outlets Mall, 1751 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., West Palm Beach from 8 a.m. – noon.

A LITTLE OUTDOOR SHOPPING – THEN A BICYCLE RIDE

Dad might enjoy a stroll around the Gardens Green Market, a rain-or-shine event featuring fresh and local fruits, vegetables, fragrant herbs, honey, homemade old-fashioned breads, donuts, pies, cheeses, sauces, handmade crafts, and more.

The open-air event is from 9 a.m. – noon on Sunday at Palm Beach Gardens City Hall, 10500 Military Trail.

And while your in the North County neighborhood, take a bicycle ride through the wide, shady, crushed-shell paths through the miles of trails in Riverbend Park. Fat tires, skinny tires, bikes with baskets, bikes with soft seats, bikes with seats for babies — all kinds of bikes are available.

Riverbend Park is open 365 days a year. Admission to the park is free. Parking is free.

FATHER’S DAY TO THE ST. LUCIE INLET PRESERVE

A Father’s Day tour of St. Lucie Inlet Preserve embarks from our dock at Charlie and Joes on Love Street. Your group of up to 6 passengers will enjoy a leisurely 5 hour round trip narrated sightseeing cruise past the Historic Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and the estates of the rich and famous on Jupiter Island en route to the St. Lucie Inlet Preserve on the northernmost point of Jupiter Island.

You have the option of leaving the boat and embarking on an easy paddle from the mother ship through a maze of mangrove creeks to a secluded beach at The St. Lucie Inlet Preserve. Alternatively, there is a spot to dock the boat and your group can enjoy a beautiful walk along a nature trail to the Atlantic Ocean on the other side.

All ages and skill levels are welcome. Possible viewing of dolphins, manatees and shore birds.
